Elizabeth Kiango Kiondo, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Ankara, visited SUAS Rector Prof. Mehmet Saribıyik. Potential joint cooperation options were discussed during the visit.
United Republic of Tanzania Ambassador to Ankara Elizabeth Kiango Kiondo, Sakarya Commodity Exchange chairman of the board Adem Sari and board members paid a visit to SUAS. Rector Prof. Mehmet Saribiyik. Rector Saribiyik gave information to Ambassador Kiondo about the university and stated that they provide Turkish education to nearly a thousand foreign students from different countries of the world at the Sakarya Language Education Center (SADEM), expressing their sensitivity about foreign students.
Rector Saribiyik, emphasizing that the visiting students are also ambassadors of culture and commerce, said that they attach great importance to international collaborations and send students and academicians abroad with education programs as well as hosting foreign students and academicians in this context. Expressing his appreciation with the visit, Rector Sarıbıyık conveyed his gratitude to Ambassador Kiondo.
Inviting Rector Saribiyik to her country, Ambassador Kionda said that she would make an effort to take steps for further cooperation. Pointing out that Tanzania had been a safe country for 60 years. Kiondo also expressed her appreciation for the hospitality of Sakarya.
