SUBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık issued a message celebrating Eid al-Adha, saying, “I hope this will be a holiday where we experience the joy of sharing and do not forget our oppressed brothers and sisters. I wish the entire Islamic world a happy Eid al-Adha.”

Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık issued a congratulatory message for Eid al-Adha. In his message, Sarıbıyık said, “We are experiencing the joy of coming together for the Eid al-Adha season, which will strengthen our brotherhood, warm hearts through visits, and bring the joy of sharing. The act of sacrifice, one of the most beautiful ways to draw closer to Allah, also teaches us the beauty of sharing by distributing the blessings we receive to those in need and expecting our reward from Allah, thereby strengthening our faith. Just as we did during the recent Ramadan Eid and in previous years, many Islamic regions around the world, particularly Palestine and Gaza, will not be able to celebrate the Eid in peace. It is the duty of the entire Islamic world to share in the suffering of our brothers and sisters, to speak out against the oppression they face, to pray for the end of oppression, and to do everything in our power to help. We must pray fervently to Allah for the liberation of our brothers and sisters in these regions, for their swift return to peace, and for the demise of the oppressors. I pray that the pilgrimage of all pilgrims performing the Hajj during Eid al-Adha will be accepted. I hope this Eid will be one where we share these feelings and thoughts with joy and do not forget our oppressed brothers and sisters. I extend my greetings to the entire Islamic world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.”
